So we all know that you shouldn't be using makeup remover wipes anymore, right? I didn't come up with this discovery until I noticed skin irritation every time I used them. So since we've eliminated the wipes the question is what can you use now to remove your makeup? A reader actually asked me on Facebook this and I wanted to recommend something she could use and, it still be "lazy girl" approved.
Let me introduce you to cleansing oils and cleansing cremes, they are much better to use for those late nights into early mornings. If your skin is like mine you can use either one. However, let me provide you with a quick breakdown as to which one is more beneficial for your skin.
Normal Skin Babies
Oily Skin Babies
I'm right here with you babies. My skin, for the most part, is super oily especially my t-zone. I swear you can cook an omelet on my nose at any time of the day. Now if your skin is oily you'll probably want to use a creme. You don't want to add oil on oil because all you'll get is...super oily. I'm recommending that you use a cream cleanser. The one that I personally love is the Cleansing Milk from Juice Beauty.
Dry Skin Babies
If your skin is dry, I recommend that you use a cleaning oil for quick makeup removal. Oils are extremely rich in hydration which is what you need if your skin is dry. It actually balances your skin's natural oils while cleansing with may chang, sunflower seed oils and organic grape seed. This cleansing oil won't clog your pores or make your skin produce more oils. My all time favorite one is from Juice Beauty, it's their Stem Cellular Cleansing Oil. It's the best seriously, I use it on all my clients!
Now that I've given you the lowdown on makeup wipes and, the difference between cleansing cremes and oils, which one are you going to try? I have both and I can't pick which one is better than the other. Also, don't forget using a little bit of coconut oil as a "lazy-girl" makeup remover too. Just don't use too much.
